Children's Community Center, one of the nation's oldest continually operating cooperative preschools since 1927, is looking for on-call guest teachers.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Guest Substitute Teachers to join our co-op. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a positive learning environment. This role requires effective communication skills, a passion for education, and the ability to manage diverse classroom dynamics.
Duties:
Implement lesson plans provided by Teacher Directors, ensuring that students understand the objectives and activities.
Maintain classroom management to create a respectful and productive learning environment.
Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents regarding student progress and classroom activities.
Support early childhood education initiatives by creating an inclusive atmosphere for young learners.
Strong classroom management skills are essential for maintaining order and engagement among students.
Ability to communicate clearly with students of varying ages and abilities, fostering an atmosphere of respect and collaboration.
