Location: Alameda
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm; flexibility to work 9:00 am to 5:00 pm or 10:00 am to 6:00 pm required with several days notice.
Children: 5-month-old
Duties: Childcare, cooking for child, light housekeeping, meal prep, child's laundry, attending classes with child, speaking French with child and parents
Requirements: The ideal candidate is kind, compassionate, honest and trustworthy, has significant experience caring for children aged between 6 to 12 months, capable of engaging them in age-appropriate activities that foster development. French speaker required. Must be comfortable working in an environment where parents are working from home, have up-to-date vaccinations including COVID, annual flu shot, MMR, DTap.The family is seeking an open-minded candidate who enjoys learning about different cultures and backgrounds.
Salary: $35-$40 per hour; plus guaranteed pay 52 weeks of the year, two weeks paid vacation, 11 paid holidays and five paid sick days.

Requirements:
Recent, long-term, professional (paid) experience with children, ideally as a Nanny in a private home with excellent references. Long term teaching experience with children in addition to recent & substantial work doing in-home childcare for a family may also qualify.
A genuine interest in working with children!
Ability to drive and a valid Calif. driver license
Able to work legally in the United States
Able to make at least a one-year commitment, ideally longer
