Location:Portola Valley
Schedule:Monday through Friday, 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm; Family appreciates flexibility to adjust hours as needed or work on weekends occasionally
Children:12 and 13 year olds
Duties:Childcare, driving children, homework help, managing children’s calendar, children’s laundry, light tidying, running errands, pet care; traveling with family ideal but not required
Requirements: Ideal Candidate is professional, proactive, flexible, and has several years of experience as a Family Assistant. Ideal Candidate will help the home run smoothly, keep children organized and on task, and be willing to pitch in with whatever is needed. Candidate must be comfortable working in a fragrance free home and cannot wear perfume or scented products of any kind, including but not limited to: perfume, body spray, lotion, detergent, haircare products, skincare products, etc. Candidate must be comfortable with a parent working from home and must be comfortable with dogs. Candidate must drive; Family can provide a vehicle for use on the job. Candidate must have DTap, MMR, flu shot and COVID vaccinations. A Candidate who speaks French is a bonus, but not required.
Salary:$35-$40 per hour plus benefits: guaranteed pay 52 weeks per year, paid vacation time, paid sick time, paid holidays
Requirements:
Recent, long-term, professional (paid) experience with children with excellent references.
Ability to drive and a valid California driver's license
Able to work legally in the United States
Able to make at least a one-year commitment, ideally longer
