Pay Range: $21.43 to $32.15 per hour
Job Summary:
Peace Village LLC is a CA-licensed home care organization that is vendored with the North Bay Regional Center. We are looking for multiple candidates to hire as early as December 1, 2025. Part-time and full-time positions are available.
New hires will be paired with another experienced team member to provide personal assistance and living skills coaching to a 24-year-old male in Santa Rosa. A typical day includes outings to play soccer, tennis, or going on a walk at a regional park. It also includes driving to horse riding sessions or to other therapeutic classes in the community.
Team members provide supervision under the guidance of a behavioral therapist, providing wrap-around support to ensure implementation of a comprehensive behavioral therapy program. The behavioral program consists of following a schedule with light chores throughout the day, such as doing the laundry, washing dishes, and taking out the trash.
The team member must be passionate about supporting an individual with complex needs, and excited to facilitate creative ways to broaden the scope of possibilities to bring joy to his life.
The team member shall engage in the following tasks:
Support the recipient with assistance in personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, shampooing, dressing, brushing teeth, grooming, shaving, toileting.
Support the recipient with assistance in shopping, budgeting, safety awareness, and community access.
Provide positive role modeling, including positive behavioral support.
Address basic needs including nutrition, activities of daily living, social and recreational activities, learning activities and hobbies, physical exercise, meal preparation, and household tasks such as laundry
Attend required staff meetings and trainings
Adhere to all policies, procedures and program compliance guidelines
Job Qualifications:
Patient, calm, perceptive, observant
Ability to speak in the recipient’s preferred language (English)
Ability to communicate clearly, gently and firmly to set appropriate boundaries
Reliable, flexible, willing to work one weekend day, early or late hours as needed by recipient (currently seeking team members from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.).
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, including critical thinking skills
Forthcoming in providing reliable, accurate information regarding recipient’s needs and conduct, while respecting the confidentiality of the recipient
Live scan clearance requirement (submit fingerprints to a Live Scan vendor).
Tuberculosis clearance
Valid driver’s license
Documentation of ability to work in the US
