Ross Valley Nursery School is looking for a qualified, motivated, and energetic teacher to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year.
Qualification Requirements
Candidates must be professionally prepared as a teacher of young children, especially in the field of early childhood education. This person must be able to relate well to both children and adults and provide leadership and stability for program continuity.
Education Requirements
15-24 units of Early Childhood Education courses
Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
Additional Requirements
At least 3 years experience working in a licensed Early Childhood Education program
Ability to plan, implement, and supervise program needs for the class in accordance with the policies and philosophy of the school.
Able to gear the program to the needs of the individual children with concern for their interests, special talents, and individual style and pace of learning.
Will assume an equal share of the joint housekeeping responsibilities of the staff including cleaning and implementing safety requirements.
Consistently treat children, parents ands staff with respect and dignity.
Maintains a professional attitude at the school at all times.
Programs
Full time position available in our 2-4 year old classes.
Compensation
Annual salary $30,000 - $50,000 + 2 additional bonuses
Salary is commensurate with experience

Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 7:45am - 1:15pm with additional hours on Wednesdays from 1 - 4pm, 3 times a month.
License/Certification:
CPR Certification (Preferred)
Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
