Noah’s Ark Preschool in Novato is searching for a new team member.
Job Title: Early Childhood Educator- P/T Teacher (1pm-6pm or 12-5pm)
Job Hours: 20 hours a week, M-F
Salary: $22-$25 per hour (DOE)
Noah’s Ark Preschool is a New Life Church ministry and part of Marin Christian Academy (MCA). Our school has served children and families in Marin and surrounding counties since 1979. We are a faith-based preschool and take pride in providing quality care with a diverse program focused on supporting STEAM through exploration and play in a beautiful early childhood setting. We serve 90-100 children every year, ages 2-5.
Responsibilities & Qualifications:
Maintain a professional, loving atmosphere at all times.
Work closely with all teaching staff ensuring clear communication regarding children and their care.
Facilitate positive communication with parents and staff.
Understand and comply with Licensing Regulations in Title 22, Child Care Center.
Occasionally stay after hours due to Open House, Christmas Production, Special Events s
Minimum of 12 ECE units. Or currently have 9 units while enrolled in an early education class.
Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently (Bi-Lingual a plus).
Physical ability to lift and carry children up to 50lbs if necessary & move quickly when required.
Relate to children, parents, and staff in a professional, loving, and respectful manner at all times.
