Job Title: Executive Child Care Center Director
A Family Focused Child Care Center, West San Jose Area
Position: Executive Child Care Center Director – Pay Range: $76,000-$153,000 a year depending on Education & Experience

Overview: Oversee the entire operation of our early childhood education centers, ages 0-5 up to a total enrollment 120 children.
Managing finances, curriculum, staff, compliance with state regulations, with a focus on creating a safe, effective, and positive learning environment for children and staff. The role requires strong leadership and management skills, with extensive experience in early childhood education, and involves responsibilities from marketing and enrollment to staff professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Management
Provide strategic leadership, set policies, and ensure the center operates according to its mission and vision.
Staff Oversight:
Hire, train, and supervise teachers and support staff, fostering a positive and motivating environment
Program Development:
Develop and implement age-appropriate programs and curriculum that enhance children's cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development
Financial Management:
Manage the center's budget, track expenses, and handle purchasing for supplies, equipment, and food
Community & Family Relations:
Maintain open communication with parents, address concerns, and promote parent involvement in the center's activities.
Compliance:
Ensure the center operates in full compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations for child care and early learning
Marketing & Enrollment:
Execute marketing plans to maintain desired enrollment and promote the center's services within the community
Required: Qualifications & Experience:
AA/AS/BA Degree in Child Development or Child Studies is qualifying OR Child Family Community, Child Growth and Development and 2 Program/Curriculum courses complete equaling 12 semester or 18 quarter units + Infant / Toddler units + Administration and Supervision units.
Child Care Center Director Experience 3+ years with children 0-5 years old.
