We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), full-time or part-time. The RBT will work directly with a teen student implementing behavioral and instructional ABA based programs under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role is crucial in supporting the client to achieve their goals, increase their independence, and live their best life!
Responsibilities
Develop great relationship with client.
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as directed by the BCBA.
Collect, record, and summarize data on client progress towards goals.
Support everyday tasks (feeding, bathroom, etc.) and executive function related support during school related tasks.
Provide support in the home, at school, and in the community.
Work collaboratively with a team of highly skilled professionals in a variety of fields (ABA, SLP, OT, teachers, etc.).
Engage in training and professional development opportunities.
Communicate effectively with client, family, and team members.
Accept feedback and implement suggestions.
Commitment to maintain client and family confidentiality.
Qualifications/Requirements:
High school diploma required, college preferred
Hold and maintain RBT certification
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities required
Experience working with individuals with communication and/or physical disabilities a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Follows health protocol
Adhere to agreed upon work schedule
