Jardin de Mariposas School is expanding our Spanish immersion program to K-3 students. We are open, following strict COVID-19 protocols and this is an in person job! We are looking for credentialed(or in the process) native Spanish speaking teachers to join our team and help us create an innovative SI program to complement our Preschool. This first year we plan to supplement SI distance learning programs as we develop our own innovative program for the future. The idea is to provide a classroom(indoor/outdoor) on our gorgeous campus with a Spanish teacher to assist with any online assignments then provide hands-on science, art, gardening, music, maker lab and PE for the Spanish oral language development of the children. We are looking for native Spanish speaking teachers with experience in early elementary who have a positive, creative mindset and love science and being outdoors! This position will involve creating lots of hands-on activities to build vocabulary and Spanish communication skills. This is a great opportunity for creative teachers to become leaders developing an innovative curriculum and building a new, innovative program for the Spanish immersion community.
