Job Description
In-Home Preschool & Daycare Teacher
We are looking for a patient, loving, creative, fun, hard working, fast / multi tasking team member for our in-home daycare and preschool. We have 12 children (ages 1 - 5 years old) and 1 Assitant teacher will be there as wellWe are a very close knit and loving environment among teachers and student families.
we serves children ages 1.5 -5 yrs old in Santa Clara . Our class sizes are small, you will be responsible for teaching no more than 12 children during the day. I have another pre-k teacher working here. Our curriculum is play-based and Academics oriented . We place emphasis on the whole child and help nurture children's development in all areas including physical, emotional, cognitive, and social.
We are looking for an experienced teacher who believes in the play-based approach, as well as, has experience in creating and teaching through hands on play and creative experiences. Including responsibilities like keeping the environment clean,changing diapers, helping the kids, always taking care of the safety aspects of the kids.The teacher should have a passion for working with young children.
Optional:
6 to 12 ECE CORE UNITS in Child Development (optional)
Must have AT LEAST 1 year experience with Children.
Must be CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain.
Must be flexible in scheduling and available between the hours of 9;30am to 12:00pm
Must have DOJ background clearance or be eligible.
Must be a team player and have great problem solving skills.
Must speak fluent English.
We have our curriculum, you should able to teach and bring in some of your creative ideas for the enrichment of the student.
