REQUIREMENTS:
8 years minimum experience working in a fast-paced Architecture office with involvement in all design phases, construction documentation and construction site visits.
Proficient in AutoCAD
Confident at moving from design development into and through the CD phase
Experience with SketchUp and Microsoft Office
Adept at working with multiple disciplines including structural, civil, mechanical
and geotechnical engineers
Able to coordinate and produce top-notch CD sets
Passionate about producing accurate and thorough details
Effective at guiding projects through city planning and building processes to acquire permits
Thorough knowledge of Type V construction
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor of Architecture degree
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Manage the development of the design, in collaboration with clients, principal and other team members
Serve as the primary contact for communications with clients and all members of the team
Lead the development of all details
Oversee and mentor junior members of the in-house team
Conduct job site meetings, manage RFI responses, submittals and shop drawings
