MetaBIM, Inc. is a rapidly growing Internet facilities database company headquartered in Scotts Valley, CA. We have an outstanding opportunity open immediately within our Services Division for a Survey Technician / CAD Draftsperson in the San Jose area.
The work primarily includes physical surveys of facilities and the creation of detailed architectural floor plans. Drafting of floor plans is accomplished in-the-field using drafting software based in AutoCAD concepts and skills. In addition to field surveying, some office work may also required.
We are seeking a professional, qualified and goal oriented candidate for an entry level to 5 years experience position with education and/or work experience in the following disciplines:
Field Surveying
AutoCAD & Drafting
Facilities Management
Architecture
Engineering
The successful candidate is one who is a motivated self-starter with the ability to work in a group environment as well as autonomously. Candidate must be able to complete projects accurately and on time.
