Our company specializes in design, installation, repairs and maintenance of Fire Sprinkler systems in residential and commercial buildings, and we are looking for a dedicated individual to join our team!
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Sprinkler Designer to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate will have experience and a strong background in the design of fire suppression systems. This role will involve working on a variety of projects, from designing fire sprinkler systems to ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
Job Duties
- Completes more complex calculations, drawings and specifications related to fire suppression systems for large multi-housing projects, tenant improvements and single-family homes.
- Acts as the lead on entire lifecycle of large projects as it pertains to fire protection including layout, permit procurement, field surveys, coordination, creation of fabrication lists, answering and assist with field generated questions, RFI creation, and as-builts
Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED required
- NICET certification preferred
- Knowledge of NFPA Codes 25/13/14
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Active Valid Driver’s License
- Strong engineering background
- Self-motivated and strong desire to succeed within the company.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
- Strong time management and prioritization skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
