As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be a key member of our team imagining, developing, and improving the functionality and aesthetics for OEMs in the recreational marine industry, automotive, among others.
You will:
- Develop, design, and implement mechanical solutions including, but not limited to, new product development while managing constraints in space, time, cost, manufacturing, structural integrity.
- Design and modify mechanical assemblies.
- Actively participate in design discussions, and supplier conversations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering
- 5 to 15 years of experience in new product design and development.
- Proven experience in mechanical design of equipment parts/automation using SolidWorks or similar CAD software
- Familiar with CNC machining technology and its limitations.
- Must be hands on and comfortable finding creative solutions to design challenges.
- Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written - and enjoy collaborating with others to solve problems.
