We are a mid-size multi-discipline architectural and engineering firm with offices in Sacramento and San Francisco. We provide all AMEPS engineering services in-house, and we are currently looking for the right candidate to join our team as a Revit Engineer/Designer specializing in any or all of the MEP trades. This position is available part time, full time, or as a consultant.
You are the ideal candidate if you enjoy working with a small, collaborative design team and are interested in gaining experience and skills across a mix of commercial and residential projects. Candidates must be self-starters and highly motivated individuals who want to share their talent and experience. We are a fast-paced team collaborating in a very fluid environment, and we prefer team members with an interest to cross-train and learn new skills. Education:
Architectural / Engineering Degree Preferred
Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience preferred
Must be familiar with the latest edition of the California Building Code, CMC, CPC, NEC
Must be proficient in REVIT
Should have a solid understanding of AutoCAD
Experience with Microsoft Office preferred
Experience with Bluebeam or Acrobat preferred
Strong communication skills
Ability to problem solve and demonstrate critical thinking skills
Must be able to work with minimal supervision
Responsibilities:
M/E/P engineering + modeling + project coordination
Creation of Design Development and Construction Documents
Coordination with in-house architects and engineers and external sub-consultants
Conduct drawing reviews as appropriate for completeness and accuracy
Organize and maintain project drawings, files, and related information
Ability to efficiently manage assignments/tasks in a timely manor
Compensation:
Contract or part-time to start
Competitive pay based on abilities, approximately $80K / year starting - based on experience and agreed hourly rate
May lead to full time position with quarterly bonuses available
