Pivot Structural Engineer is looking to fill (2) structural engineering positions of various experience levels and an internship position. The engineering position is full time. Work schedule for internship can vary between full and part time. Descriptions and requirements of each position are listed below.
PROJECT ENGINEER/MANAGER
Position requirements:
- 7 and up years of structural engineering experience in wood, steel, concrete, and foundation design in California.
- Skillful in structural analysis software, especially SAP, ETABS and AutoCAD.
- Proficient in conceptualizing structural detailing and in preparing construction documents.
- Ability to manage projects from start to finish and to collaborate with design and construction professionals.
- Knowledge of construction administration and field observation.
- California Civil Engineering license required, Structural Engineering license required.
DESIGN ENGINEER
Position requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with structural emphasis.
- 2-3 years’ experience in structural detailing and preparing construction drawings for buildings in California.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Ability to work under supervision to complete assigned projects.

- You should be comfortable collaborating with a team of engineers, architects, clients and contractors, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- You should be detail-oriented but also not afraid to take design risks. Creativity is required.
