Person needed for this spring and summer to work part time cleaning vacation cottages in Point Reyes. Includes on-site living space for one person (no pets).
Looking for one person who loves country life and detailed cleaning. Start date flexible, sometime in March or April is ideal.
Cleaning is of vacation cottages 4 or 5 days a week, after guests have checked-out (days vary from week to week), for 3 - 6 hours/day for an average of 20 hours per week. Days ideally startas soon as guests vacate (between 9-11am). Cleaning always ends by4PM, very often much earlier. There are also morning and evening chores that take only minutes (feeding the cats, opening/closing the front gate).
You have your own private, fenced living space on the property, away from guests. It is a small 28ft one-bedroom trailer, (full kitchen, full bath with shower and small tub) very clean, comfy bed with new memory foam mattress, fast WiFi, great heat, endless hot water, private deck and yard, laundry room, on site parking for one car (you definitely need a car to live here—not to do the work but just to get around in general). There is also space for you to have your own garden if desired.
This is an ideal situation for one person who enjoys cleaning and wants to live in West Marin for 6-8 months and have +/- $400/week to supplement a night job or other income. As it is only part time you will need to have some additional source of income —but at least you’ll pay no rent or utilities.
