Dogfather K9 Connections is Sonoma County's leading dog boarding facility featuring boarding, grooming, bathing salon, day care and private dog park.
Dogfather K9 Connections is home to Golden Gate K9 Training which specializes in Police Service Dogs, Detection Dogs, and Security Dogs.
We are looking for a reliable, responsible, self motivated, experienced individual with supervising skills. YOU MUST LOVE DOGS. IF YOU DON'T HAVE ANY DOG EXPERIENCE DO NOT APPLY. THIS JOB IS FULL OR PART TIME. YOU MUST MEET ALL REQUIREMENTS IN THIS AD. PAY RAISES COME QUICK FOR SERIOUS WORKERS. FIRST RAISE REVIEW IS AT 60 DAYS. Starting pay depends on experience.

Kennel Attendant Duties Include: - Checking in and out clients - Answering phone - Making appointments - Feeding and medicating dogs - Ensuring a safe environment - Monitoring any "Special Needs" dog clients who may be older, medically fragile, or difficult - Providing friendly and professional customer service - Bathing dogs - Maintaining our high standards of cleanliness inside and outside of our facility - Working Monday - Sunday 0800-1830 with flexible lunch times. Also working some holidays. Schedules are made monthly. You have an opportunity to plan days off for those special occasions. The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to do this job.
Physical Requirements: - Able to stand/walk for up to a 6 hour work day, lift 75 pounds, handle strong athletic dogs, and work outside in varying temperatures and conditions. You will get paid breaks.
Required Experience/Qualifications: - Previous ANIMAL EXPERIENCE - Ability to take direction and work independently - Good communication skills and friendly, professional demeanor and appearance - Reliable transportation - No Felony Convictions - Comfortable working with our Law Enforcement clients - Experience with handling and or training dogs - Experience with customer service - Kennel Attendants work some weekend and holiday shifts. Depending on experience $19 -$21 per hour. No healthcare benefits.- Must be flexible with work days and hours - Must have waterproof boots and long pants required -Must be dedicated to our dog clients.
