Mayacama Golf Club, a premier private club in the heart of Sonoma County, is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Activities Manager to lead and elevate our member events and programming. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves creating memorable experiences for both children and adults in a stunning, service-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and manage diverse social, recreational, and educational events for all age groups.
Design and oversee children’s programming including camps, birthday parties, seasonal events, and more.
Coordinate event logistics with staff and departments, ensuring seamless execution.
Source and manage entertainers, vendors, rentals, and supplies.
Produce engaging communications and promotional materials in coordination with the Club’s Graphic Design Specialist.
Maintain event documentation, control budgets, and assist with member billing.
Supervise Activities and Childcare staff.
Assist with F&B service during the winter season (minimum 1 shift/week).
Collaborate on food & beverage planning for children's events.
Support major member celebrations and holiday events (Halloween, 4th of July, Easter, etc.).
Participate in seasonal projects such as pool opening and closing.
Qualifications
College degree preferred.
CPR & First Aid certified (infant, child, and adult) or willingness to become certified.
Minimum 3 years of experience in hospitality, events, recreation, or childcare management.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher).
Energetic and passionate about working with children and families.
Must be flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Enjoyment of outdoor activities (hiking, tennis, golf, biking, etc.) strongly preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
Annual Salary: $74,000
