Bon Mot in Main Street Cupertino is looking for AM brunch/lunch sous chef or experienced line cook!
We are looking for a full time experienced sous chef or line cook who has a passion for technique and attention to detail. Responsibilities include setting up stations, preparing fresh ingredients, plating and executing during service at a high level.
Knowledge of Korean cuisine, farm-to-fork cuisine, California coastal cuisine, French culinary techniques preferred.
Minimum of 2-3 years experience required (line cook). Minimum of 3-5 years experience required (sous chef).
ServSafe certificate required. Manager ServSafe preferred for sous chef applicants.
Must be able to:
execute cooking techniques and kitchen duties
make delicious and presentable food consistently
communicate well with others
follow executive chef instructions on seasonal menus and platings
follow guidelines on food safety and physical safety
ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand on their feet for long periods of time
