We are looking for a highly motivated and organized Assistant Manager to join our team at Primavera Ristorante, a vibrant Italian restaurant in San Ramon. This role is ideal for someone with hospitality experience, leadership skills, and a passion for event planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Restaurant Operations: Support daily operations, ensuring excellent guest experiences.
Event Planning: Coordinate private parties, banquets, and special events, managing reservations and logistics.
Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and support front-of-house staff.
Financial & Admin Tasks: Use Excel and other tools to manage schedules, inventory, and reports.
Customer Engagement: Build relationships with guests and handle inquiries professionally.
Qualifications:
Hospitality experience (restaurant management or supervisory role preferred).
Strong event planning and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Excel and restaurant management software.
Ability to lead a team and foster a positive work culture.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ideal Candidate:
Comprehensive knowledge of OpenTable
Experience with the Toast PoS system
Experience with Microsoft Office
Strong beverage knowledge, including wine
2+ years of management experience
