Peoples Coffee is currently seeking 1 standout person to join our cafe family.
Compensation: Hourly + Tip (our customers are extremely gracious)
Employment type: Part Time 3-4x week (open 2-3 days, close 2-3 days weekly including weekends. & floater)
Morning Shift Opportunities: 5:25am-12:30pm (2 people work mornings)
Afternoon Shift Opportunities: 12:30pm-6:30/7:00pm (1 person works afternoons)
Coffee experience is not required but is very helpful.
Be a self starter
Punctuality and reliability
Have an outgoing personality (our customers come for great coffee but mostly the fun upbeat staff)
Be able to memorize customers names and there drinks (very important)
Be able to work in a fast pace environment. (we move the line faster than any other cafe in town)
We are looking for a long term commitment
California state law requires a food handler’s certificate within 30 days of hire (we will pay if you don't have one)
Role and Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for taking customers orders, serving customers, cleaning, restocking, organizing, and preparing customers beverages. The job requires you to greet customers when they enter, answer questions, give suggestions, take orders while paying attention to details, prepare beverages following recipes, serve food/pastries, and maintain the cleanliness of the cafe.
