BARISTA, SŌHN (Dogpatch, San Francisco)
$20/hour + tips
Morning & Afternoon Availability Required | Part-Time or Full-Time
SŌHN is a daytime café and creative gathering space rooted in Korean American culture, community, and warm hospitality. We serve thoughtfully sourced coffee, matcha, and seasonal beverages alongside a menu designed with intention and care. We're looking for Baristas who are passionate about hospitality and excited to help shape the guest experience at SŌHN.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare espresso, matcha, and tea beverages with consistency and quality
- Provide warm, attentive guest service at the counter and on the floor
- Maintain a clean, organized bar and FOH workspace
- Support with running food, bussing tables, restocking, and general café upkeep
- Communicate clearly and calmly with the team during service
- Rotate through all FOH roles—including barista, running food and drinks, and assisting on the floor—as all FOH positions at SŌHN are cross-trained and rotational
What We’re Looking For:
- Morning + afternoon availability (required)
- 1–2+ years of barista or café experience preferred
- Strong fundamentals in espresso and milk steaming
- Comfort working in a high-volume environment with a strong sense of urgency
- A warm, steady presence and genuine enjoyment of guest interaction
- Reliability, professionalism, and attention to detail
- A collaborative, team-first attitude
