Beertenders at Splitrock Tap & Wheel will be our customer facing staff tasked with taking and managing orders, serving food and beverages and keeping a clean and organized work and dining area. Requirements:
Experience working in a busy counter service taproom/restaurant
Cash handling
Food service industry experience
Experience with electronic food service POS systems and general eDevice literacy
Access to, and ability to use, a computer or smartphone (scheduling app and staff communication emails)
Physically able to move heavy items (tables, chairs, beer kegs, dirty dishes, cleaning equipment)
21 years old or older (ABC requirement to serve alcohol)
Responsibilities:
Keeping beverage coolers stocked and correctly rotated (both kegs and self-serve drinks)
Managing customer food and drink orders for accuracy and timeliness
Preparing and serving drinks
Maintaining a clean and orderly service area (bar and dining room)
Changing kegs and making updates to the online and display board menus
Restocking service items (napkins, paper towels, condiments, etc.)
Washing dishes
Compensation:
$16/hr, plus a share of pooled tips (typically $20-$25/hr)
Shift meal
Off shift discounts on food, and drinks, and discounts on bike stuff too.
