Over the last 25 years, we've established a reputation for delicious, high-quality, naturally-leavened breads. The café and retail space opened in 2019, and we've expanded our repertoire to include pastries, savory lunch items, and a line of packaged goods. We have a close-knit team, we all genuinely enjoy each other, and we like to have fun, even if (when!) this place gets crazy. About the Job:Prep cook duties change with the seasons. In the fall and winter, you might dice vegetables for soup, caramelize onions for sandwiches, or grate cheese for quiche. In the spring and summer, get ready to slice lots of fruit, make jam and pesto, and roast tomatoes. Your input, feedback, and ideas are welcome and encouraged. We all wash our own dishes and help with clean-up and closing. Requirements and Schedule:We prefer to work with nice people who are excited about cooking, and who have common sense. Experience is good, but not necessary. A sense of humor is a plus.Reliability: arrive on time, do what you say you'll do, don't flake.Flexibility: This is a small operation and we believe in cross-training.
