Description: Servers for fine dining catering company and restaurant based out of Richmond, Ca.
Duties will include: Set-up, food/beverage service, breakdown, and the care and packing of equipment, décor and food.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Uphold the high standards of Anaviv Catering & Events handbook and policies
Maintain safety and organization at events
Familiar with the menu and prepared to explain it to guests
Stay on task and work effectively
Be proactive in anticipating the needs of the client and their guests
Help with set-up and breakdown of tables, chairs, linens, flatware, and glassware
Help with loading/unloading vehicles
Maintain and replenish event tables accordingly
Balance and carry trays of food and beverages
Serve, pour, and bus beverages
ID guests consuming alcohol
Help with cleanup
Remain positive, friendly, and possess excellent communication skills
Only have work appropriate conversations
Possess listening skills with the ability to follow instructions closely
Possess a service attitude that is logical, detailed, and organized
Ability to work under pressure and maintain composure and objectivity in stressful situations
Remain teachable and flexible
Team-oriented
High level of personal hygiene

Must possess a current California Food Handler’s card/ RBS certificate
Reliable transportation required
Fine dining experience a plus.
