Join the culinary team at the award-winning Nopa restaurant, Che Fico. Named one of Bon Appetit’s Best New Restaurants in the country, Che Fico features Italian cuisine using California’s local and seasonal ingredients, with a menu of handmade pasta, pizza, salumi, antipasti and wood-fired meats and fish, as well as fresh daily Italian baked breads and pastries, daily churned gelati and sorbetti
We are looking for an experienced(2-3years) AM prep cook who reads recipes in English, knows how to navigate a prep list, and can effectively be a strong part of our AM prep team on day one. English and Spanish skills are a huge plus. Understanding the craft of cooking and how to follow the finer points of a recipe are also hugely important to us. The right candidate will be able to be here promptly at 7am and here until 3-3:30pm.
We are also looking for an experienced Pastry production cook interested in helping us with our bread baking and dessert production, that can help us out in the mornings as we head into the busiest part of our year. The ideal candidate would have 2-3 years production experience, and be a self starter. Capable of pushing themselves to work accurately and efficiently. Have a great attitude, and want to be a part of an excellent team that works together.

We source produce from many extraordinary local farms and will work to expand your product knowledge base. We shop three times weekly at local farmers markets and let seasonal availability of produce inform our menu.
