DNA Lounge is hiring barbacks with experience working in a fast paced, high volume environment. We are looking for reliability, accuracy, and most importantly a great attitude. Must be comfortable working late night hours.
This is primarily a NIGHT / EVENING position, with some afternoon shifts. Must be available on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
Job Summary:
- Assist during service and provide go-to support for bartenders during events
- Maintain cleanliness behind the bar, liquor room, and walk-in area
- Preparing bar areas for service, filling ice, and etc.
- Restocking bar with product, cups, ice, straws, and etc. during service
- Refill ice bins, Change beer kegs, soda fountain refills, and replace liquor bottles as needed
- Prepare clean bar rags and laundry throughout shift
- Assist bartenders during high-traffic hours, cover breaks, and pour drinks as needed
Qualifications:
- 21+
- RBS Certification
- Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Strong organizational skills and experience working in fast-paced environments
- Basic Knowledge of bar menu Items, cocktails, beer & liquor
- Physical ability to lift and pull heavy items such as beer kegs, ice buckets, flats of water, and able to stand throughout shifts
- Ability to interact with customers and other employees in a professional and polite manner
- Ability to retain knowledge of location names throughout the venue
Preferred:
- Approx. 2 Years of Experience in Bar, Restaurant, and Hospitality industry preferred
- High school diploma; additional certification in mixology or hospitality is a plus
Compensation:
$20/hr plus tips (negotiable based on experience)
