Job Title: Dreamforce 2024 Event Staff
Location: The Moscone Center in San Francisco, CA (SOMA/Yerba Buena district)
Example Shift Hours: (9:30 AM - 2:15 PM) (10:00 AM - 4:00 PM) (12:00PM - 6:00 PM) (6:00 PM - 11:00 PM)
Ambassador Pay: $22.00/hour
Supervisor Pay: $27.00/hour
Event Dates: September 16th-September 19th (training for Supervisors on the 14th)
Job Summary: We are Dark Staffing Events, a premier division of Dark Staffing Solutions, dedicated to providing top-tier personnel for a variety of events. We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Event Staff to assist in various roles, including concessions, registration, crowd control, and more, during our event. The ideal candidate will be customer service-oriented, proactive, and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
-Provide exceptional customer service to event attendees
-Line Control
-Assist with the check-in process for attendees, ensuring accurate and efficient registration
-Distribute event materials, badges, and other relevant information
-Address attendee inquiries and provide directions as needed
-Monitor and manage crowd movement to ensure safety and smooth flow of foot traffic
-Assist in directing attendees to appropriate areas within the event venue
-Communicate with security and event management to report any issues or concerns.
-Assist with the coordination of event logistics and support event activities as needed.
Qualifications:
-High school diploma or equivalent required
-Previous experience in event staffing, customer service, or hospitality is a plus.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
-Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
-Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
