Seven Hills Baking Co. is hiring a full time experienced pastry baker for the early morning bake. We are located in the Castro Valley Marketplace in Castro Valley, and have over 20 years of baking experience making true artisan breads and pastries using natural leavening and slow fermentation. We have gained a reputation for having some of the best breads and pastries in the bay area. We make everything by hand using only the best natural and organic ingredients.
If you are a passionate career baker, this position is definitely for you. We are looking for a baker with experience proofing, baking and finishing laminated pastries such as croissants, scones and danish. You must have great time management and organizational skills. You must be dependable and show up to work on time with a great attitude and be ready to contribute. Minimum of one year professional baking or restaurant experience is preferred. This is not an easy shift so we need someone that can hustle and thrive under pressure. Professional baking experience is essential. Shifts begin at 3AM so you must have reliable transportation.
