Hello!
We are looking for an experienced part-time host at Millennium. The shifts we need filled right away are Thursday & Saturday (dinner). The host shifts begin at 3:30pm and end no later than 10:00pm. Hosting at Millennium is for people who love engaging with people and puzzles and multi-tasking. The host at Millennium needs to be an excellent communicator & team player and someone who stays calm and positive under pressure. They communicate daily with the kitchen team, ensure menus for the day are printed and ready to go, answer phones, map out reservations to accommodate requests and allow for enough dining time, understand the importance of allergies and hand all significant notes to servers, know where and when we can seat people who walk in, keep track of where diners are in their meals throughout the night at the bar and at tables inside and on our patio. The list goes on and so if you read all of this and thought, no problem I've done this stuff and moremaybe you're our next host! We would love to hire someone who has at least 3 years experience hosting and ideally with experience in large restaurantsboth fast paced and upscale. We are always open to cross-training when the time is right.
