Tandoori Life Catering, known for authentic Indian and regional cuisine, is looking for an experienced and passionate Indian Cook/Halwai to join our team. If you love cooking traditional Indian dishes and have experience with large-scale catering, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
What You’ll Do:
Cook a variety of Indian dishes – appetizers, curries, breads, and desserts – using authentic recipes.
Prepare large orders while keeping flavors and presentation top-notch.
Handle ingredient prep and manage cooking for catering events.
Keep track of spices, ingredients, and supplies to make sure we never run out.
Follow food safety rules and keep the kitchen clean and organized.
Work with the Executive Chef to improve and add new dishes to the menu.
Stay calm and work quickly in a fast-paced kitchen.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience as an Indian cook, ideally in catering or a busy kitchen.
Strong knowledge of Indian spices, ingredients, and cooking methods.
Ability to manage high-pressure situations and big catering orders.
Good time management and multitasking skills.
Attention to detail and focus on consistent quality.
Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.
Friendly and able to work well with others.
