Position: Line Cook/Kitchen Manager
Location: San Francisco Wine Society
Hours: Monday to Friday, Evenings
Wages: Starting at $30/hr + Health Insurance
Responsibilities:
-Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including ordering, food prep, and cooking.
-Monthly inventory
-Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
-Develop seasonal menu items.
Requirements:
-Previous experience as a line cook or kitchen manager in a fast-paced restaurant or similar establishment.
-Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
-Punctuality and reliability are essential for this position.
-Proficiency in inventory management, including ordering and maintaining stock levels. Willing to teach ordering and inventory management to a candidate with the right attitude and willingness to learn.
-Ability to work effectively in a small kitchen environment, often with minimal supervision.
-Food Handler's Certification
-Flexibility to work evenings and occasional weekends as needed.
