SŌHN is a café, retail, and gathering space in the Dogpatch neighborhood built around the ethos of “many hands made for all.” We’re a brand-new high-volume concept and are looking for passionate, hospitality-driven individuals to join our opening team.

As a Front of House (FOH) Team Member, you’ll rotate between key guest-facing roles: cashiering, barista, and food running. You’ll play an essential role in shaping the guest experience, supporting your teammates, and bringing warmth and energy to our community space.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver warm, genuine hospitality to every guest, anticipating needs and ensuring a welcoming experience.
- Rotate across FOH positions:
Cashiering: Operate our Toast POS system, process orders accurately, handle payments, and guide guests through our menu.
Barista: Prepare and serve high-quality espresso drinks, teas, and signature beverages with consistency and care.
Food Running: Deliver food and beverages promptly and knowledgeably, maintain cleanliness in the dining area, and support service flow.
- Support daily opening and closing procedures, ensuring FOH areas are clean, stocked, and ready for service.
- Communicate effectively with both FOH and BOH teams to keep service smooth and efficient.
- Uphold SŌHN’s service philosophy, maintaining an approachable and guest-first attitude at all times.
Qualifications:
- Previous café, restaurant, or hospitality experience is preferred, but not required - enthusiasm and a guest-focused mindset matter most.
- Strong multitasking and communication skills; comfortable switching between roles as needed.
- Interest in coffee, tea, and food culture, with a desire to learn and grow alongside our team.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Availability to work shifts ranging between 8am–5pm, Wednesday–Sunday (hours of operation are currently 10am–3pm with immediate plans to expand).
