Hi! We are Marica restaurant located in Oakland, CA (Rockridge District).
We are hiring Food Expo / Food Runner to work dinner shifts 4:30pm-9:00pm, 3-4 nights a week.
This position is responsible for coordinating the timing of food orders, so they are delivered to the dining room or other service areas on time. They will also communicate with the head chef and line cooks to ensure that orders are being prepared correctly.
Food Expo / Food Runners will:
- Manage incoming food orders from Square Point of Sale, delivery partners (Doordash, Ubereats).
- Bring food orders from the kitchen to front of house.
- Assist with kitchen duties as needed.
Requirements
- Speak and write English fluently.
- Be able to work various shifts including weekends.
- Be able to use computers, tablets, point-of-sale systems, and delivery platforms.
