Key Responsibilities
Food Runner Duties:
Efficiently deliver food orders from the kitchen to the dining area while ensuring accuracy and presentation standards.
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any special requests or modifications.
Assist bartenders by providing support during busy periods, including refilling water stations and clearing tables.
Maintain cleanliness in the dining area by promptly removing used dishes and utensils.
Dishwasher Duties:
Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and cooking equipment.
Ensure that all items are sanitized according to health regulations and restaurant standards.
Organize clean dishes in designated areas for easy access by kitchen staff and bartenders.
Assist with maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area by disposing of waste properly and keeping workstations tidy.
Barback Duties:
Support bartenders by restocking supplies such as liquor, beer, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and ice.
Prepare garnishes for cocktails and assist in maintaining cleanliness at the bar area.
Help manage inventory levels by monitoring stock supplies and notifying management when reordering is necessary.
Provide excellent customer service.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
Flexible availability including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
