Busy Mission District restaurant is hiring an experienced bartender. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in a high volume bar setting with food service and is comfortable with both beverage and food service. Marking, coursing and firing must be something you are familiar with.
Please be able to handle working in a high volume setting while maintaining fine-dining standards, i.e. talking about the menu, discussing spirits, beer, wine and other beverages, and general bar top maintenance. Also please be comfortable in cash management, you will be responsible for balancing your bank and handling multiple credit card tabs simultaneously.
Must have a desire to learn about all aspects of the bar program, weekend availability a must.
Candidate must be professional, presentable, outgoing, a team player, and someone who truly takes hospitality to heart.
This position requires foresight, attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a knack for problem solving.
