The Altamont General Store in Occidental is hiring a Full-Time Grill Line Cook to join our kitchen team! We serve farm-fresh, organic food in a vibrant community space and are looking for someone dependable and team-oriented to contribute to our mission.
Position Details:
Location: The Altamont General Store, Occidental, CA
Schedule:
Wednesday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Thursday, Friday, Saturday: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Sunday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: DOE $19-$21/hour, plus tips (an average of $5-$8/hour additional)
Key Responsibilities:
-Cook on the grill line and assist with food preparation
-Multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced kitchen environment
-Maintain food safety standards and cleanliness
Requirements:
-Ability to learn quickly and multi-task
-Previous hotline experience preferred, but not required
-Must be dependable and a team player
-Reliable transportation required
-Servsafe food handler certificate (or ability to obtain one)
-Must be able to lift 50 lbs
