The Role:
We're seeking an experienced General Manager who understands that true hospitality goes beyond excellent service – it's about creating a home away from home for our guests. As our GM, you'll be the guardian of our vision while driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a passionate team that embodies our family-first approach to service
Maintain the highest standards of hospitality while managing daily operations
Oversee inventory, cost controls, and financial performance
Cultivate relationships with guests and become a familiar face in our community
Partner with our chef to ensure our carefully selected ingredients and authentic preparations meet our exacting standards
Drive recruitment, training, and team development initiatives
Qualifications:
5+ years of restaurant management experience, preferably in upscale casual dining
Strong understanding of Italian cuisine and hospitality culture
Proven track record of financial management and P&L responsibility
Experience in staff development and training
Excellent communication skills and a natural ability to make guests feel welcome
ServSafe certification and knowledge of SF health department regulations
Available for evening and weekend shifts
