Restaurant in the Marina looking to bring in experienced Head Chef. Applicant will be joining a highly motivated, energetic team with a lot of creative freedom and opportunity for personal touches on menu items. We are looking to fill the position immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
-Craft and develop creative menu.
-Lead and schedule kitchen staff.
-Organize and maintain a clean and professional kitchen.
-Ensure high standards and a professional representation of the business.
-Daily prep and set up, food service, end of shift breakdown and cleaning.
-Inventory and ordering.
Requirements:
- Have minimum 2 years experience in high volume kitchen.
- Consistently produce high quality food with precision and efficiency under pressure.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness without the need for direct supervision
- Knows English.
- Extensive knowledge of classic American cuisine
- Basic customer service etiquette
- Work well with restaurant and bar staff
- Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Attention to details, prepping, cleaning, stocking inventory, when not busy
