Join the team at Jo's Modern Thai, a Michelin Bib Gourmand and James Beard Foundation recognized restaurant. We're currently looking for a warm and personable host who can make our guests feel welcomed and valued from the moment they step through our doors. As our host, you will be the first smiling face to greet our guests, making them feel welcomed from the start. Your role is pivotal in establishing an excellent first impression and setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience.
Responsibilities:
- Warmly greet and welcome each guest with a bright smile and traditional Thai hospitality.
- Manage reservation system, guest flow, and seating in an organized and efficient manner.
- Answer incoming calls professionally and handle to-go orders.
- Collaborate closely with servers and bar staff to ensure smooth service throughout the dining experience.
- Thank guests warmly and invite them to return at the end of their visit.
- Assist with running food to tables to ensure timely delivery of dishes.
- Help set up tables and ensure they are clean and fully equipped for new guests.
- Assist in packing to-go orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all items are secure and presentable.
Requirements:
- Must have prior Host experience
- A genuine passion for providing outstanding hospitality.
- Friendly, energetic personality and the ability to make guests feel at home.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional appearance and grooming standards.
- Calm demeanor and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
