Job Description:
We are currently seeking a passionate bartender who is eager to grow with us and contribute to our continued success.
Candidates for all positions must be dependable, self-motivated, and able to communicate effectively with the team. A passion for craft cocktails, food and creating a positive experience for guests are required! We are looking for a team player that is dedicated to crafting a spectacular experience for our customers in addition to creating cocktails. Part-time position only with potential to become full time. Weekend availability is a must.
Pay is competitive hourly (depending on experience) plus tips.
Previous restaurant experience is preferred.
Candidates for the bartending position should possess the following qualities:
Must be 21+ years of age
Passion for craft cocktails
2 years experience preferred
Professional grooming and demeanor
Strong sense of urgency
Strong work ethic
Ability to multitask
Check for proper identification
Work well under pressure
Well versed in classic cocktail knowledge
Willingness to teach and learn
Must be a team player
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with our standardized drink recipes
Prepare garnishes and purees for drinks
Maintain bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner
Clear and wipe bar top after each guest
Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
Present food and drink menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages
Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves and storage areas.
Receive and serve food orders
Demonstrate proficient food knowledge
Demonstrate proficient beverage knowledge (Liquor, Wine, and Beer)
Record drink and food orders accurately
Accept guest payment
Wash and sterilize glassware
Assist other FOH staff to perform setting up restaurant, cleaning restaurant, bussing tables, running food, taking food orders, making cocktails, serving guests, assisting staff and opening and serving wine, when needed
Perform all duties while following all health department sanitation requirements
