Fueling Station, an independent SF native minority owned neighborhood cafe that offers coffee, teas, and cafe food (sandwiches, pastries and salads) with our own touches. We also love building community with our customers! We are opened daily from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
We are currently hiring from 32 to 40 hours a week. Must be available Monday, Wednesday, Friday and at least one weekend day. Extra bonus points if you are an early bird and /or have schedule flexibility.
We are looking for a person who is punctual, friendly, responsible, flexible, and customer service-oriented!
Ability to multi-task while working neatly at a steady quick pace (hungry customers don't like to wait.) is a must.
Be available for additional offsite barista training and learn our drink menu.
Comfortable handing knives and hot food / beverage items.
Follow directions / recipes for menu items, baking, beverages etc
Restocking through out the day.
Comfortable taking orders, assisting customer, answering phones and help create an inviting environment. .
Assist in cleaning upkeep: wipe down tables, sanitize food stations, load dishwasher, sweep floor as needed.
You should have the ability to be on your feet for majority of your shift, lift up to 40 pounds (bags of sugar, crates of
milk, and cases of soda for example)
