Are you passionate about Japanese cuisine and eager to elevate the dining experience for our guests? We are thrilled to announce the opening of a new fine Japanese restaurant specializing in Omakase tasting, fine sushi, and exquisite Japanese cuisine, located in the heart of Hayes Valley at 22 Franklin Street, San Francisco. We are currently seeking talented and dedicated individuals to join our team as Sommeliers and Servers.

About Us:

At our upscale establishment, we are dedicated to providing an unparalleled dining experience that celebrates the artistry and flavors of Japanese cuisine. From meticulously crafted Omakase menus to the finest selection of sushi and sake, we strive to delight our guests with every dish and every sip.

Positions Available:

1. Sommelier:

Curate an exceptional wine and sake list to complement our menu offerings.

Provide expert recommendations and guidance to guests on wine and sake pairings.

Maintain inventory, cellar management, and ordering of beverages.

Conduct staff training on wine and sake knowledge and service standards.

Ability to Curate & Execute Wine & Sake Pairings for Tasting

Must have Experience working in fine Dining as a Certified Sommelier

Ability to Execute Proper Beverage Service

Have a Can Do Attitude + Team Player & Able to Execute Based on direction

Exceptional Communication skills are Required & Fluency in English

Must be able to Manage High Pressured, Fast Paced Work Environment

2. Servers:

Deliver attentive and personalized service to ensure a memorable dining experience for guests.

Have a thorough knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and allergens.

Anticipate guest needs and accommodate special requests with professionalism and grace.

Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service.

Have a Can Do Attitude + Team Player & Able to Execute Based on direction

Exceptional Communication skills are Required & Fluency in English

Must be able to Manage High Pressured, Fast Paced Work Environment

Requirements:

Previous experience in a high-end restaurant or similar upscale dining environment.

Passion for Japanese cuisine, wine, and sake, with a desire to continuously expand knowledge.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Certification in wine or sake studies is a plus.
