The Cedar Gables Inn is a beautifully renovated historic inn in beautiful downtown Napa in need of a manager to assist the owners in front-facing duties.
The ideal candidate for this position is a self-motivated, detail-oriented manager who has prior experience supervising small hospitality teams. We're looking for an individual who can think quickly, keeping an eye on all operations, make quick and accurate decisions in a sometimes stressful atmosphere, and be pleasant and helpful to guests from all over the world. Hotellerie is a dynamic environment, despite the best laid plans. If you're afraid to get your hands dirty, this job is not for you.
Responsibilities Include:
Supervising a 3-5 person staff, including scheduling and perhaps payroll.
Managing revenue and costs, with regular reporting directly to the owners.
Manage the smooth operation of breakfast in the morning, including quality of food, cleanliness, and sanitization. Also, ordering and prepping.
Reputation management using the voice of the company.
Salary: negotiable
Steady schedule preferred, but must be able to cover shifts as needed.
