Hiring Immediately! Kitchen Staff
We are seeking an experienced Back Of House employee who is interested in a different sort of environment than a typical restaurant. We are going to run a very small menu and the kitchen staff would consist of only you most days. The menu is designed with this in mind.
About Us:
We are a craft brewery opening a new taproom with a kitchen. We are anticipating a steady lunch service and the menu is designed to get food out quickly. We are in need of someone who knows their way around the kitchen to run our simplified food program.
About You:
You work fast, clean, and hard, but never at the expense of quality or safety. You can be highly self-sufficient with nobody hovering over your shoulder. At the same time, you receive and process feedback well and can follow instructions. Proficiency in English is required in order to communicate effectively with the staff. Knowledge of the Spanish language is a plus but not required.
The Job:
You would work M-F approximately 10am-4pm and have nights and weekends off. You would be working largely by yourself and would be in charge of doing a moderate amount of dishes as well. You would also be expected to go out on the floor and bring back dirty dishes and glasses from the bussing area and generally do whatever is asked of you with a positive attitude and desire to succeed.
Physical requirements:
regularly required to stand up for 6-8 hours at a time
occasionally required to bend, climb, or reach
occasionally required to lift up to 30 pounds
Compensation: Approximately 30 hours/week
$18-22/hour depending on experience. Complimentary shift meal and drink.
