Laili Restaurant, a fine dining Middle Eastern Afghan fusion restaurant in the heart of downtown Santa Cruz, is seeking a skilled and reliable Line Cook to join our kitchen team.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience required in a professional kitchen, preferably in fine dining
Strong skills in cooking, plating, and working in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to assist with prep work and dishwashing as needed
Ability to follow recipes, maintain consistency, and uphold high food safety standards
A positive, team-oriented attitude and strong work ethic
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items to Laili’s quality standards
Assist with daily prep work and kitchen organization
Wash dishes and maintain a clean, sanitary work area
Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff for smooth service
Comply with all food safety and sanitation regulations
