SF's Cigar Bar and Grill is looking for you
We are an independent restaurant and bar that features several evenings of live music, DJ entertainment and dancing. We are a mom & pop style venue looking to develop and retain new talent. We promote and cross train our staff whenever possible. Lead bartending positions are currently available and we will fill these positions soon. CB&G has operated in it's San Francisco location since 2004. Over time we have demonstrated a history of developing qualified employees' skill sets. We promote from within whenever possible and hope to enable our staff to follow their passions and interests outside our industry and beyond.
Cigar Bar & Grill is a legacy establishment that has deep roots in the San Francisco (Jackson Square) community we retain many loyal devotees. Our establishment is located in one of the oldest and most beautiful neighborhoods of the city, the old Barbary Coast. We are situated in between North Beach, Chinatown and the Downtown financial district.
Our ideal candidates are seasoned industry professionals with experience in casual, fine dining or volume establishments. However, we are willing to train motivated individuals who are looking to join the restaurant industry from other career paths. You will be working closely with restaurant managers in the overall development of the food and beverage operations of the restaurant. This is a team focused operation. Every team member contributes to problem solving and generating fresh ideas for the smooth operation of the business. We are looking for individuals who thrive in an ever changing and challenging environment. We are seeking those candidates that bring infectious positivity and teamwork to their workplace. Our management style is collaborative rather than restrictive. We are looking for hard working problem solvers with energetic attitudes and outlooks. We are looking to build an impeccable team. New shifts will include weekday and weekend nights, a revamped happy hour, and soon to launch Tuesday industry nights, all of which add to our current programs.

for your consideration:
LEAD BARTENDER
Shifts days are WEDNESDAY- SUNDAY
4:00pm-11:00pm (and/or)
7:00pm-3:00am
Typical schedule will include a mix of opening and closing shifts. As a Lead you will be responsible for menu creation, staff training, ordering, meeting with reps, daily till settling, creating specials and off site promotional events etc.
Currently CBG is closed Monday / Tuesday
