Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Catering Cook with kitchen manager knowledge to join our team for daily catering events. Prepare high-quality dishes, collaborate with our team, and ensure flawless event execution.
Responsibilities:
Work alongside an Executive Chef with 30+ years of experience
Help to coordinate kitchen team, plan ingredient sourcing and staff
Prepping ingredients
Platter and Chaffer presentation (including garnishing)
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and presented beautifully
Maintain a high level of quality control and attention to detail
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Collaborate with the catering team to ensure smooth event execution
Requirements:
Proven experience as a cook or similar role in a catering setting
Knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen equipment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Early morning start times - flexibility to work on-call shifts, including early mornings, evenings and some weekends.
Must have a vehicle to arrive at our commissary kitchen.
