West End Izakaya is an Asian inspired gastropub. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a background in culinary arts. We have a small, tight knit crew and little turnover. It is important that our kitchen is cohesive and kind, we operate on mutual respect towards each other and hard work.
Duties:
Prepare and cook according to established recipes.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety and handling regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
Read tickets and keep a clean station.
Be able to work 40 hour weeks
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
